Tour of Pembrokeshire

“Ride Out”

This weekend’s ride is an extra ride for those who are, or are considering riding the Tour of Pembrokeshire (ToP), on Saturday 25 April 2015. Due to summer Car Parking charges, it is suggested to use the car park at the entrance to the Leisure Centre, next to Ysgol Dewi Sant (Secondary School). The ride will leave Oriel y Parc, St Davids at 9:00 am on Saturday 18 April 2015. Please note time and day.

This weekends Ride Out will follow ToP 50 route, but will include the small leg into and out of the Gwaun Valley which includes the much loved hill after Cilrhedyn Bridge.

This is the last “Ride Out” for the Tour of Pembrokeshire and using the extra loop gives a distance of just below 60 miles. As on previous rides, cyclists are welcome to use the short cuts for those who do not have the time to complete the whole route.

The pace will be around 12mph, but both the actual route/distance and speed will depend on rider’s wishes and weather conditions on the day. There will be only short stops for a snack etc, so we are all able to get home in the afternoon. This is a CTC ride, so no one will be left behind and we help anyone with mechanical difficulties. The ride is open to all cyclists, you do not have to be considering doing the ToP or being a member of the CTC.
